from Venezia to Maribor

Homelanding

Hero/Heroine, warts and all
describing
every day
divining
the space between each word
confining
the waterline

up to here
dividing
the moon and sun
confiding
their illustrious marks on skin
residing

Here, home is
colliding
with the everyday.

Some dark mark upon the soul
its scarred inscription
its description
tattooed and bled,
here
coloured
red

Or, in history
fed
to “Sod’s Law”

your back
which lacks
control
seizes up and thus
informed
writes letters
home

colliding,
defining
and as such as much as what as it were,

words
and their dark gods
now laws
now flaws
and in awe
corrupting
seizing
breathing
believing
conceiving

Mountains, Seas, Rivers, Valleys
receding

As the light goes “pop”
the moment
in vacumn
discusses
the empty room
the forgotten tomb
of god

and all, then vibrating
struck down
gyrating
back again here,
residing
your will
translating
a place called home.
