USE IT
Watershed participatory on-line event
September 1999

"One of the exciting dimensions was a live chat event in the gallery at Watershed; using a large projection screen, the interaction with online 'chat' and image/sound exchange became an accessible public way into the digital stream of information sent between the artists.

Young children downloaded sound samples of Georgian singing to dance to in the gallery, people compared the images of the eclipse watchers in both England and Georgia to draw geographical and social parallels, and there was constant exchange between dialogue in the gallery with the public feeding directly into the artists' project."
